My printer was working fine until I disconnected my computer and moved things to the other side of the room. Now when I try to print, I get a message that the printer can't be detected and it shows the printer as being offline. When I uncheck offline, won't the printer still work?.

You should try uninstalling the printer's software while it's plugged out of your PC. After uninstalling re-plug your printer to the PC, turn it on, and a "Found new hardware" pop-up should appear. Proceed by installing your drivers again. This should fix the problem.
